Hiroshima Anniversary Issue: Romney Abroad

Mon. August 6, 2012:         [PART TWO:  67th Hiroshima Anniversary Edition]

By almost any measure, as conservatives like Charles Krauthammer will attest,
GOP candidate Mitt Romney's recent campaign swing through London, Israel, and Poland
yielded "mixed" results.

1.  Middle East expert Thomas Friedman's summary, by far the weightiest & most widely-read of the following samples from conservative and liberal newspapers, should take top priority:

"Since the whole trip was not about learning anything but about how to satisfy the political whims of the right-wing, super pro-Bibi Netanyahu, American Jewish casino magnate Sheldon Adelson,
why didn't they just do the whole thing in Las Vegas?"

2.  But please note the conservative National Review's take, too.
Rich Lowry writes that it was the Left-biased Media who had a bad trip -- not Romney:

3.  For Maureen Dowd's slam from the left:

                                           A conservative's touch-up of Maureen Dowd

4.  The dangers of making foreign policy with a $100,000,000 donor in tow:

"The more Mr. Romney digs in on a particular position, the harder it will be to dig out, especially if the people egging you on in the first place have just donated $100 million toward your campaign."
