Bloomberg Day--1 Month & 1 Day After Bloomsday

Tues. July 17, 2012:

Bloomsday -- for those like me who never dared to wade through every page of James Joyce's
infamous novel Ulysses -- was June 16, 1904.  The novel & its protaganist Leopold Bloom live through that one day, although Joyce himself never used the term.

Bitesfromedwin missed June 16, 2012.  But 1 month & 1 day later,
Bloomberg Day seems appropriate, as several nonpartisan items have piled up within
Bloomberg News over the past fortnight.
Dear Readers, on Bitesfromedwin's "Bloomberg Day,"
here is Bloomberg News's Greatest Hits over the past fortnight:

1.  http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-07-16/the-republicans-most-hypocritical-economic-argument.html  Republicans are consistent in anti-spending, except when it comes to military spending.

2.  http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-07-16/is-obama-or-romney-better-for-middle-east-peace-.html  Obama actually tougher than Romney on Iran, but Romney may have a [Nixon-in-China] slightly better chance [but clearly no guarantees] at Israeli-Palestinian peace than Nobel-winning Obama.

3.  http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-07-15/voters-must-see-candidate-plans-for-avoiding-fiscal-cliff.html.  Both presidential candidates need to declare, clearly, what their fiscal plans will be if elected!

4.  http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-07-12/pennsylvania-is-key-to-republican-vote-blocking.html
Jonathan Alter is a self-avowed liberal.  Here, he argues the partisan nature of various states' "voting reform" laws.

5.  http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-07-11/outsourcing-the-campaign-for-outsourcing.html
Neither Obama nor Romney understand that Outsourcing is a free-trade GOOD thing!

Obama frames it as a curse word.  Romney's reply is, ok maybe he did outsource, but it "wasn't illegal."

6.  http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-07-10/helpless-president-hopeless-congress.html
Washington is broken, and both the President & Congress [and the Supreme Court?] are to blame.

7.  http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-07-09/is-romney-gutsy-enough-to-pick-chris-christie-.html
Bloomberg News's conservative columnist worries that Romney is so unlikable, that to win,
he MUST pick New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as his running mate.

But who would overshadow whom on this ticket?
